What's the state of using Android for art? I'll present quick
overviews of present projects available, talk about how the hardware
connection could be used for serial and MIDI input and output, and
show you how to incorporate Processing to sketch Android projects
directly on the device and in the Android SDK.

For a specific project, I'll demonstrate how a new application can use
OpenSoundControl for networked touch manipulation of music, visuals,
interactive software and data. I'll show how the app is being
developed, some of the obstacles to using multi-touch, and some new
ideas for interface design patterns for control on handheld devices
with work with a collaboration with designer Michael Schieben
(Precious Forever).
